Mother Earth- Boreal Beauty of the Peace Country Photos

The students in 3G had a blast with the Rhyming Riddle Scavenger Hunt inspired by Sharon Krusel's book Mother Earth—Boreal Beauty of the Peace Country. They also crafted enchanting terrariums, or "Fairy Gardens," featuring moss, lichen, fungi, branches, and rocks. Many of the plants and animals they explored tied into their Science unit on Living Systems, making it a fun and engaging review!

The Mysterious Forest Life Exhibition has been on display in our Library for the past month. It is a part of the Travelling Exhibition Program Northwest- an initiative supported by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts to bring art exhibitions to as many communities as possible across Alberta. We will have another exhibition on display later this school year.
